“Oh no, another COVID passion project…” I hear you muttering to yourself. Nice try, you cynic — I’ve been thinking about doing this for a long time, actually. And though COVID hasn’t added a single second to my days, I’ve mysteriously found ample amounts of free time I’ve always denied having to finally take a shot at building my “online brand”. Or whatever. Call this a symptom of prolonged denial of WeHo patios and social contact and, well, everything.
Okay, truthfully, procrastination is my Achilles heel. Hello, fellow ENFPs!
Anyways, what is this site / blog / portfolio thing all about exactly?
Well, for one, I’ve always wanted to own my domain. Check — One step closer to celebrity status. Though not quite “trademark my name like Prince” level.
Two, I believe no professional is defined by his or her LinkedIn profile or resume bullets, and I’d like for friends and coworkers alike to get to know the “real” me. So relatable, I know.
In all seriousness, I try to dedicate the waking hours of my life to being the best person that I can be — Through Creation. Through Learning. Through Dreaming. This is meant to be a little taste of that. A little ‘amuse-guele’, shall we say.
Over the coming weeks, I hope to entertain and inform with musings relating both to my data analytics background and personal passions. I look forward to producing knowledge articles, demos, book reviews, samplings from my portfolio, and learnings from my technical training progress, among other offerings.
